We thought my nearly 9 year old hen was just lethargic from being near the end, but we discovered she had flystrike. Bathing and treating with Vetericyn every few hours. The diarrhea that caused the flystrike is mucus-y white and yellow with black globs I assume are blood. She hasn’t eaten much if anything the last few days, and has been consuming water with Rooster Booster electrolytes. Any insight on what the cause of the diarrhea is so we can properly treat? Waiting to hear back from our vet, but that could be Monday. Our 15 other chickens have healthy poop.

Those poops are just urates and bile (the dark green blobs) and mean the bird is not getting enough nutrition. She needs to eat something, anything, right away. Scramble up an egg, see if she'll eat that.
