Ill Buff Orpington

My Buff Orpington Hen was looking healthy four days ago and now has lost all color in her comb and face… she also weighs almost nothing and has been only pooping yellow bubbly diarrhea. It seems as though this is some type of coccidiosis but I can’t find a remedy I could get access to fast enough. She shows interest in food but won’t actually eat. Thanks for any advice!!

Welcome to BYC. Mostly coccidiosis affects young chickens, and symptoms are runny poops with yellow mucus or sometimes blood, standing puffed up, lethargy, and no appetite. Corid (amprollium) which is found in feed stores can treat it. Dosage is 1.5 tsp of the powder or 2 tsp of the liquid per gallon of water for 5 days, as the only water source.
