Hi All: I have 4 baby chicks that are just shy of 4 weeks old. Their wing feathers are in, tail feathers are sprouting, Screen Shot 2023-03-05 at 11.36.27 AM.png tempImage46IXi8.png and I would say they are about 85% feathered. I am in Central Florida and the high today is 86 and the low will be around 63 degrees. The rest of the next week is much the same. There will be a few cooler days much later in the week, where the high will be 70 degrees and the low will be 47 degrees but that is not until next Sunday. My set up is an Omlet Eglu with a run, and I put hardwire around all sides of the run and on the front door and back. I can put a heat plate in the "coop" part for additional heat if necessary. I would really like to get these little ladies out of the house. They are fine during the day when it's nice and warm, but I am wondering if they are too little to stay out there at night with a warming plate if it's 63 degrees.
