Is it too hot for my chickens to lay

I currently have 10 chickens 4 of which are new ones and 2 have just started laying. The problem I have is the original 6 chickens I have dont seem to be laying many eggs at all. I live in Spain and at the moment it is very warm.

They have good quality laying food which a bowl of grit and calcium and have fresh water daily, is there anything else I can do to help to keep them laying????

How old are the older hens? Breed?

The older ones are only a year or so old so and they are the normal battery hens
