Yesterday my husbands pup killed our broody hen, Henrietta. She was a White Plymouth rock. Poor thing. Pup is gone away now & there will be no other dogs. Period. Im sick about this. My 13yo daugter was the one misfortunate enough to find her. She called me at work in hysterics & I had to leave early to come help her. My work may roll their eyes at that but thats my kid. I don't care.
Of course the little jerk of a dog had to take the one who won first place at the fair. I was hoping to breed them out this spring. Sigh.....
She was also one of our best layers. ths sucks.
