Mouse proof feeders for quail?

Maybe you should consider mouse-proofing the cage? Quail are small, mice are big and scary (possibly a threat) to them. I’ve only been at it a year and a half, and don’t know what mice might actually do to them, but I never wanted to find out. Half inch hardware cloth completely contains mine.

Thanks - I have started doing that after catching a mouse in the feeder and happily munching quail food. I have bought 1/4 inch hardware cloth (accidentally) and will use that.
