Hello all. I was sorting through my quail photos and came across a pic of my brooder setup. What do you all think? It has proven to be successful in the past. It is nowhere near that pretty and new looking anymore.
It isn't in the pic, but all 4 of the 110 qt. tubs have 1/2"x1/2" wire tops as well to keep them from jumping out and from anything falling in on them. I love building things out of PVC so I built this so that the heat lamps could be moved up and down to control the temp as they grow. Plus I have the fluorescent light strips with dayglow bulbs on a timer for more natural light.
