Need help treating Scaly Leg Mites

My rooster has a bad case of Scaley Le mites. It seems there are tons of “treatments “ out there. I heard Elector OSO was effective in killing both the leg mites adult and nits. Has anyone used this effectively? Did you do a spray or a soak. Vaseline afterwards? I do deep mulch in the run. Do I need to remove all the old mulch from the run? I plan to thoroughly clean the coop and perches. Thanks.
