New layers wait time

I haven't hatched eggs from my flock in forever. I recently started over around Easter with chicks. My polish started laying at the end of August, very small bantam size eggs. I know polish don't lay large eggs...more a medium size, so I'm wondering how long until they will get up to hatching size? Think a month will be long enough?

Usually, a month is all it takes to stop laying pullet eggs, but I have never had polish chickens before. Do you know how big their eggs normally get?

Medium? The ones I bought to hatch were probably considered medium. They were between silkie and standard egg layer size

It seemed to be a little different with every bird, but yes I'd say a month is a good time frame to expect.
