New to Duckling!

Hey yall,
My name name is Courtney and I'm a new duck mom... Well I will be in about 56 hrs lol.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Well not chickens actually, I'm hatching a duck... In like 56hrs so yayyy.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
0, in 56 hrs I'll have one see little duckling.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I'm hatching either an appleyard or a harlequin. Don't know which as was a mixed bunch.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Googling all my weird duck questions this page came up.... A LOT. Which is equally as awesome as my new duck will be, poop & all lol.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Horse anything, running a landscaping business with my husband and snowboarding alllllll winter.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have two dogs, a GSMD and a pibble, two snakes a red tail and a ball, and mice to feed said ball.
My husband most certainly thinks I'm nuts for wanting a pet duck but he knew I was crazy when he married me.
I'm open to anyyyy advice on my new duckling adventure.

Oh forgot to mention, naming my duck Eggroll... Because I hand rolled the egg... A LOT

I don't think having a duck makes anyone crazy - now the ssssssss (snakes) are
something entirely different

Haha not the first time I've heard that BUT I've been around them since I was little so I don't think much about it.

Any idea how long the hatch will take now that's he's chirping very audibly through his shell and tapping furiously at it? Last night he was just sort of chirping off & on and still tapping a lot. Tomorrow should be day 27 or 28 ish
