Our first hatch using an incubator!

Well after 26 days we had 5 of our 6 guinea hen eggs hatch. I was getting worried, they started external pipping the morning of day 25 and it took them about 36 hours to hatch. I have attached some pictures. My girls love them.

5 outa 6! Not bad! I have the same incubator and have come by some bad luck in my last 2 hatches. Finally it looks like we're going to have more than 1 hatch this Thursday/Friday.

Good luck with your guineas. We have 2 that are 2 weeks old. They are funny little birds...a little neurotic.

Thank you! Wait until they get bigger, they can make some noise.

I had some problems when I first started last month. I ended up buying the fan kit and automatic egg turner. The fan kit has helped keep the temperature constant.
