Preserving Eggs at Home

Hi all,

I was wondering if there were any tips on how I could preserve eggs at home with no equipment and not much skill required. My recently purchased hens are laying a lot of eggs, more than my family can eat! I've heard mentions of a technique called "glassing", but I have no idea what it is or how to do it. Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Kuritsa

There sure is. It is called water glassing. Not much equipment needed. The best option is to use smaller buckets, so as to prevent eggs from cracking due to weight.
Here is a link to a way to do it. Everything you need to know is there. Quite a few pages, but ALL GOOD INFO. :thumbsup
