Rescued from dark box but what did I rescue?

He/she came from a rescue situation. Never seen the light of day and very mistreated. Can anyone tell me breed and gender. I'm new to this and only have a few chicks and some eggs incubating but heard about this one and couldn't leave it in the situation it is was in.

I don't know what kind of comb she has, I can get the pic. to open but she could be a sexlink or a black copper marans.

She has a very small red comb. Barely sticking up. I'm not sure of her age either.

There are no feathers on her legs though. Do all Black Copper Marans have feathered legs?

No. The French standard calls for feathered shanks. The American standard does not (I believe). Its very common for hatchery Marans to lack feathers on their legs.

It looks like this hen has white earlobes; is that correct? If so she is neither a black copper marans or a black sexlink.
