So I’m raising 11 Bresse for meat. I keep my meat birds and egg birds separate. Because they’re straight run I have 7 roosters and 4 hens. They free range in a large garden during the day and sleep in a pvc chicken tractor. They’re all 10 weeks old, and I plan to processing them around 18-19. 2 days ago I noticed one of the roosters wasn’t coming out so I checked on him and he was really beat up. His comb was bleeding and feather all a mess. He finally come out and the other roosters immediately started attacking him again. I cleaned him up put him in a large dog crate next to the tractor so he can get picked on, but is there anything else I can do? I have maintain these birds for about 8ish more weeks and I’m worried I just have too many roosters to keep the peace.
