I don't think the wild hair as anything to do with the gender of the chick. Now feather shape and form does.

Also I'm pretty sure that chick 1 grew feathers faster and still has more feathers then chick 2. Also when they were younger about the first 2 weeks chick 2 would fight with its self in the mirror. It's crazy chick 2 started doing that from day 2. Anyway recently chick 1 one had been fighting with some of the other chicks just when I first let them into there run in the morning. They don't actually really fight they just peck a few times and that's it.

Chick 1 when I took this picture I noticed that it Beek looks more red than the other one it doesn't look like that in real life just this picture.

Pic 1 is male, not sure on 4th pic though
