Salmon Favorelle Rooster

Wondering if anyone else has a Salmon Favorelle rooster...
My handsome guy sure does love his ladies however his fifth toe is wearing my ladies out!!!

Has anyone else had this problem???
It's not like a spur where I could just remove it

I know for dogs you can get their dew claws removed.

Could the same thing be applied in this case?

You could clip the nail on his 5th toe. I doubt it’s really the problem, since it’s not thick and sharp like a spur, so he may be over breeding the hens even if he didn’t have the toe.
