Hello there all once more!
I was actually confident with this one when I got her, as she had the pea comb, slate legs and appearance of a sebright when she was littler.

Is she just a hatchery quality not as vibrant sebright/will she get brighter or darker when older, or is she just a different breed entirely?

I got her around ~4-6 weeks ago, from the assorted bantam bin at TSC! She looked like a sebright chick when she was younger, but the older she got the more pale yellow and gray she became. She also doesn't have the same overall patterns sebrights do.

Thank you!

Rose comb, not pea.
Your chick has a rose comb.
Sebrights have a rose comb.
d'Anvers have a rose comb.

Pea combs look a bit different, are caused by a different gene, and are found in different breeds (such as Brahmas and some Easter Eggers.)
