Doesn't matter if its dry powder, garlic is garlic

You can eat raw sugar or drink a coke if you are diabetic, still the same.

They aren’t Ingesting it. It’s a spray, for on their bodies. Not a powder. Not straight garlic. It’s a garlic scented LIQUID spray for their body.

I’m pretty sure spraying a coke on a diabetic isn’t going to affect them

We’ve done it once, after he was sick. It’s not the cause of his sick behavior. we’re trying our best to give him the least toxic treatment until he is showing improvement

We would normally treat stronger like this but was being cautious since he’s already so sickly and also on medications. Was hoping to help with this more natural treatment until he shows improvement. I think all the rain we’ve had has kept them from being able to dust bathe as much as normal.

We’ve never known of mites to make a chicken sick like this though. And especially only one of the flock? Are you thinking that could actually be his main issue?

If he's got mites/bugs and the garlic spray is not treating them and just irritating them, then they will be biting the tar out of him.
Mites kill chickens.

No one can say if the mites are the main problem, but if you don't get rid of them, then they will continue to be a contributor.
