Hi all, I am a newish silkie momma. I rescued 2 silkie hens from a local swap. Both were in poor condition after getting them home and doing a good examination. I have treated them for an upper respiratory, coccidosis, worms, scaly leg mites, and they both went broody in Jan/Feb. Fast forward to today. After going broody one of the hens has just not thrived. She has a slight cross beak. I have noticed she tries to scoop food up and it falls right out of her beak. I have been feeding her mash and she seems to be able to get food. She is so thin that I doubt she even weighs a pound. I have treated her for everything under the sun. I make her a mash moring and night and she looks awful. She still talks to us a tad but in general her feathers look bad and her energy in gone. We have checked for mites, no mites. Any advice is appreciated.
