I am wondering if a run attached to my coop that is 10x 20 is large enough for 11 layers and 2 turkey's? Thanks for all replies awesome site:woot:rolleyes:

Yes it will be big enough, most people use a rule of 10sf per bird in a run so you should have plenty of room.

Sizewise you're fine, but apparently (and this is with zero personal experience in the matter) turkeys are susceptible to diseases that chickens are dormant carriers for. Something worth looking into before housing them together.

Aww crap I hope not they been together with the chickens and we're raised with chickens there about 8 weeks old now and the par ants were with chickens outside free grazing so I hope they will be ok they are bourbon reds and seem to not be too bothered by the chickens. Thanks for the info though I,ll have to look into this some more.:idunno
