my Rhode Island red chicken is sneezing and had bubbles in her eye and it was crusted up. It is the middle of winter so the first thing I did was putting her in a warmer place stay than in the chicken coop and giving her vet r x because that is what I have at the moment, some of her medical history is that she is a vaccinated chicken I don’t know what she’s vaccinated for but I do know that it’s a respiratory or illness and it killed off 10 other chickens because we were amateur chicken owners and didn’t quarantine when we got her so I’m thinking she might have that illness but I don’t know what it is and I don’t know if it’s contagious or if it’s something to worry about or it’ll pass on when it’s not cold because since she was vaccinated I don’t know if it’s a danger to her and she’s just showing symptoms but I did wanna share that her vaccine did cars a major pandemic a very long time ago. It was probably five years ago. She’s a pretty old chicken, so I was wondering if anyone knew what I should do because I am not familiar with chicken vaccines. I don’t do those. She just happened to come with a vaccine all those years ago. Here are some pictures from her poop yesterday and what her eye look like when it was crusted yesterday It seems to be swelling so I’ll have a picture of that sopn she is eating and drinking.

Where are you located in the world?

I'd flush and clean the eye with saline, gently wiping the crust from the eyes. Then apply an eye ointment like Terramcyin in the eyes to help them heal.

Sneezing can be caused by a number of things from poor ventilation to respiratory disease.
You can try an antibiotic like Tylosin to see if that helps with her symptoms.
