Split bottom beak

Hi all,
I was hanging out with my girls when I noticed Beverly's beak. The bottom one is split in half. It doesn't seem to cause her any pain. She eats and drinks and lays just fine. What could have happened?

She could have injured her beak on an object or by being hurt by another chicken. Google "injured beak in chicken," and look for TheChickenChick for good advice on helping to repair a beak. Most people suggest using a tall sided bowl with water added to feed to make it easier for them to eat.
