Has anyone read this book? I got a copy and read it right a way. It is so interesting.

yup, I read it over the summer. I thought it was awesome. I really identified w/ several of the characters.

The book is exceptional....
I not only read it, I recommend it to anyone who just doesn't "get" our love for our birdy babies...

I got it for my birthday a week ago.

I laughed out loud when I saw us described as a tribe, and wes as a respected elder

And it was rather similar to what happened with me - I found BYC myself when I was 11 and I know I started quoting it at my dad!
