Taking eggs from Muscovy - without traumatizing her

My Muscovy is currently sitting on 12 eggs. She's only been sitting for a few days (maybe 3) from what I can tell.
I can't have any more ducklings hatch as we have too many. She's hatched 2 other lots.

How can I take her eggs from her without traumatizing her??

Wait until she gets off the nest to eat! Add a few fake eggs if you want. Tractor Supply sells the fake ones.

I never let them get but one egg under them and that is the one they lay that day. Never let them accumulate them. lol

The reason is if she sets for weeks and the egg does not hatch you might at least get one Duckling?
