All Texas chicken lovers.....even if you already have chickens please help us who can't have them yet without this bill.
Please call the Senate Committee on Local Government at 512-463-2527 and ask them to put it on their schedule for the next meeting.

HB92 has already passed the house
next step....heard by the Local Government Committee which I know it will pass
then it goes to the Senate floor for a vote.....all previous backyard chicken bills passed quickly.

This is the 3rd session that the bill has tried to get through but always ran out of time. We still have time this year.

The nice lady who answered said it helps when people call in and she will let them know there is a lot of interest.

I don't think calling with help anything unless the people calling live in that region.
They can see where you're calling from.

This is for Texans. The calls are to let them know there are many people interested in seeing this bill passed. This is just trying to get the committee to hear from the public and any others and then it will be sent to calendars so it can be heard on the senate floor. We only have one month to go before they all go home for another 2 years.
