The Chicklings

I figured I’d post about something that isn’t about an ill chicken for once and show off the newest editions to the flock. We incubated some duck eggs and only one hatched so we got the little duckling some friends: a magpie duck, two copper rock marans and a light brahma. They are the cutest little group! We refer to them as the Chicklings since they’re a mixed group of chicks and ducklings.

The chicks think they’re ducks and try to mimic what they see the ducks doing.

They are all so cute. I wonder if they will hang out together when they are older?
