it's only about 8 weeks. the size and color of comb was what was making me think roo. and i guess i'm miss identifying makings of saddle feathers then lolPullet/hen depending on how old, but not a Roo. Barred Rock hens have fairly large comb and wattles compared to other breeds.
To answer your question above the barring is little different. Barred rock roosters compared to hens have more white. Here is a good comparison (not my pic, Dunlap hatcheries)it's only about 8 weeks. the size and color of comb was what was making me think roo. and i guess i'm miss identifying makings of saddle feathers then lol
