Unfortunately the only way to know for sure is to have the vet perform a necropsy to determine cause of death.

Usually I think one month is safest/the general rule for quarantine before integrating flocks.

I am sorry for your loss, but she did look like she was suffering. I wish that you could have got some testing and a necropsy on her to have gotten a diagnosis.

I know. I wish I could’ve had them send her body for a necropsy. We’ve already spend almost $3,000 on sick animals this month so I didn’t want to even ask my husband about paying for something else.
