Not very normal, no. Why are you saying they're broody?

Another thing to consider if you are in the northern hemisphere is you'll be going into winter. Not impossible by any means to raise healthy ducklings in winter, but it does complicate things a tad

Yes, and don’t worry. If I do have to take the eggs in and incubate then I’ll brood the babies like I did with poly and Finn. I had poly and Finn in the winter and they’re healthy little babies

Bc they’re all, including the mom, taking turns on the eggs which means laying and building the nest
