Wasps in new cedar coop

..... the hens ignore them in the coop but pluck them out of thin air and eat them if they buzz too close....

My daughter's cat does the same thing.... at least until she caught her first frisky wasp. Now when she goes after air born wasps she is more... lets say circumspect.

Sadly we have alot of wasp as well and they are very very hard to kill so alot of the more tame things wont work. We use Sevin spray, its a harsh chemical but the alternative was getting stung all the time.
