My idea for automating my watering will be nipple drinkers screwed into a pvc pipe which will be fed via pump sitting in a reservoir. Most cheapo pumps around the 15-30watt mark should be capable of 1.8m lift/head. For the round aviary turned quail coop, I'll screw the nipples directly into some 19mm flexible plastic tube (white on outside, black on inside for heat. Can get it at hydroponic stores.) that'll follow the curve hopefully. Still on the fence whether I'll use the same system to service the chickens as well or maybe use a gravity feed system (Something like an ibc on blocks or a 220L olive drum on a stand.)
