My fluffers are 3 weeks old today!! They have really grown and now most of them fly up to the top of the brooder and walk around when I open it up....it's really bedlam trying to corral them up and close the top.
About half of them have become very friendly and want to climb on me when I'm trying to do things in the brooder...right now the 3 BR's are the friendliest followed by the 3- Blue Star's and only 1 RIR right now. The Black Star's are still very skittish for some reason but I'm sure they'll come around with more handling.
My plan was to take them on a field trip outside this week but the weather doesn't want to cooperate so I brought the field trip to them in the form of a pan full of dirt....they had quite the time with it!! My outside play yard is ready for them if it warms up some next week. I'm sure that will be quite the show when they go out there. I attached a pic of as many as could fit piled in the pan dust bathing....
