Am I the only one who would think it would be awesome to have a hen laying that color of egg?

I agree, eggs with any color darkened on them would be awesome.

Nope, I have not gotten any more abnormal eggs. Everyone is healthy. Female chickens, especially pullets who are laying their first eggs, will sometimes have very strange eggs like the one in my post. I'm not sure what happened but I guess her body just did not work correctly in producing that one particular egg.
