What breeds are my two chickens

Hi everyone, any chance you could tell me what breeds I have here with these two babies.
Also any insight on how to sex my itty bitty baby.

The chick could be any one of many breeds - too young to accurately determine. The other appears to be a red sex link of some sort.

I agree. It's too early to be correctly determining breed and gender - the other chicken is probably Golden Comet or Red Sex - link.

The little bit of eyeliner is atypical for Rhode Island reds, but otherwise she looks like one. Or it could be one of many hybrids offered by the hatcheries, if that was the source of the chick. Time will tell.

The baby was found playing in traffic along our busy main street so not sure on where it's from.

This is my baby "Wheels" this morning. Finally worked out about a month ago that he's definitely a rooster. He's getting more and more pretty every day and is just beginning to attempt to make some crowing sounds(although he sounds like he's being murdered at the moment I know he'll get there eventually).
