What chickens I have

I have buff orpintons and just LOVE them. They are so docile and friendly and wow do they lay. I've had many other kinds but these are my faviorites.

canarygirl.....I am SO GLAD to hear that. My Buff Orps are a week old today...I ordered 15 hens, 2 roos. I was wondering how well they layed, as I can not keep up with the egg orders with just my RIR.

Of the mix of chics that I got from MM, I am finding the same thing too. The Buff Orpingtons are freindly from the get go.

My two buff orps. are the friendliest! The only problem is they want to help me with everything. I no sooner get in the coop and there they are, talking and looking for a pet from me. They're so sweet!!!!

They are wonderful chickens! I have Buffs and now am raising Blue/Black/Splash Orpingtons as well.
