what color is it?

Ok I have silkie eggs and when I candled them yesterday one I could see real easily could this be a white silky?. Anouther one was really dark and could bearly tell it was alive could it be a dark chicks (all of the eggs are the same color).

Anouther qestion I have is after they hatch and dry off is it ok for me to pick them up with my hands and put them in the brooder?.

You can't tell what color the chicks are through the shell. You could probably see one easily because you had the light in a better spot. Even if you had a white silkie, it would look like a dark spot. If you could see lots of light, the chick may have died earlier in development too. Wait till they hatch and dry off to see colors. As for picking them up. Wait till everyone hatches and dries, and pop them right into the brooder with your hands.
