when can i put my chicks in with my hens and rooster?

i have 1 bantam rooster, 1 dark brahma, and a ee...my chicks are about 8 weeks old...how long should i wait b4 introducing them?

I don't put my chicks in with the adult birds til they are almost the same size and can defend and get aways from the older birds and for me that 15 to 16 weeks old...you also need to make extra feeders and waterers to make sure the adults are not starving out the younger ones...

Could you make barrier with chicken wire between them in the same coop so they can see each other w/o hurting them? Might make the transition go a little smoother down the road.
