Where can I get good silkie chicks?

Hi everyone! I am a high schooler who is a member of 4-H and shows chickens at the fair. Silkie chickens have always been my favorite but the last couple times I got them, I could tell they were definitely not up to breed standard. I want to get my hands on some to take to next years fair. I am located in central Michigan. Does anyone know a good place I could get them? Thank you!

You can find breeders on your local Craigslist, make sure the breeder is selling good silkies. You could also buy some Silkie hatching eggs from eBay, there a several good breeders on there. Or your could look for a local breeder.
