Zen or Hen?

Is it a sign of my mental lapse that I believe each of our hens has a very distinct personality and that my mind decides that I will assign each hen a fantasy/cartoon type voice that seem to match her nature? I mentally create little interactions between them as well as their thoughts and actions as I'm watching them. No, oh dear, maybe my subconscious is trying to give them human emotions or characteristics. I really want them to like me....Kind of funny but also sad to long for their acceptance and approval. I just want them to be safe and happy and secure....Happy hens. No! No, oh dear. Not again.
