Hi, you posted on my wall about the heat pad brooder. The heat pad has 6 different setting and a stay on feature. The chicks use it like they would a mama hen, they go under for warmth but don't stay, they are in and out. At night they will sleep in their cave at first, as they get bigger they use the cave less and less. Check out the mamma heat pad in the brooder thread.
