Excellent idea and good job explaining how to do it ourselves. Could we not sit this up higher though, like on a brick or two so they get it closer to eye level for them? I don't see why not except that hefty bottle of water might be a struggle even more. Also, I'd clean up the typos and grammar but otherwise, nice job!!!

Really excellent DIY alternative to the usual gravity waterers. I'm sure it doesn't accumulate near so much bedding in the water as the usual open pan.

I may try this on a smaller scale for my cull cockerel pen because the crossbeak can't use a nipple waterer.
