Additional InformationBelow is copy of an e-mail I received from the Boulder Records dept: \\\\\\\"Hello, Below is a link to \\\\\\\"Chapter 6-1: Animals\\\\\\\" of the Boulder Revised Code. The code does not list animals that can be kept but rather it lists animals that cannot be kept. Chickens are not listed in the code as prohibited (see attached code). Please review this chapter in its entirety because there is information listed on what is required for the care of the animals that are kept." There is no specific ban on roosters, however section 6-1-19 does specifically list crowing, and if it is reported to disturb the peace on a regular basis can be taken to court. No specifications are listed about fines or jail terms. The County Land use codes (second link) specify the \\\\\\\'Animal Units\\\\\\\' allowed per acre or lot
