I live in a small town in Florida called Hernando. My love of chickens all started when a co-worker gave me one of her RIR laying hens... I guess Sassy (RIR) wasn't getting along with the other girls so she came to live with me. Well we know how chicken math works... One, turned to Three, Three turned to Eight, Eight turned to Twenty-Five, Twenty-Five turned to Fourty.
I love Brown eggs the best. So in my Standard Flock I have Black Copper Marans, Buff Orpingtons, Black Australops and Barred Rocks.
My lovely husband just recently converted an old shed into a chicken coop for me to house all my chickens, but then I ordered a bunch of Bantams and need a new coop for them..
Out of my Bantams I have Cochins in different colors from Black, White, Partridge, and a Red Frizzle and I also have some Golden Laced Wyandottes.
I will post up some new pictures here very soon!!! I need to clean up all the scrap materials from building the coop and hope to salvage some for my next coop
