R.I.P Acorn
One day my girls were free-ranging.I locked them up back in there pen, collected a few eggs, went inside and went out a hour later.Acorn normally always came running, but she stayed were she was.Didnt think of it, sat down. She didn't come up for cuddles like she does.Thats odd.So I grabbed the treats, shook them. She took a shuffle forward, that's it.I imidiatly rushed her inside, something was off.I, of COURSE ran out of Electrolytes, So I quickly started researching for a remedie.Baking soda, Hot water and molasses worked. So she still wouldn't walk.I took her outside on the grass while my mom cleaned up a cage.Brought her inside. She was getting worse, eyes close, barley moving, fast breathing.By then, I was crying as a searched up BYC, as soon as I started typing a thread, Acorns head cocked to the side, and she flipped in midair, I thought my mom scared her, but she did it again and again. My mom told me to go into my room, and I was crying so hard.Acorn had died.
I had checked for bumble foot, wry neck, Marek's, Egg bound every possible illness that could have caused this!
She was free ranging just hours earlier!
I don't know what happened.
R.I.P. Acorn, I hope you had the best life I could ever give you.
