I built this small coop for my special needs blind hen. She was attacked by an aggressive chicken and lost her eyesight completely in one eye and most of her sight in the other eye (I think can only see light and dark and movement).
I wasn’t certain she would make it but after a lot of care, antibiotics, and ointments, she’s made a full recovery (though still totally blind).
This coop is all a “one-story” coop; no ramps for her to navigate and the food and water is in a spot that was easy for her to find by feeling around.
I created a step-by-step video of me building it! And I did it all in my second and third trimester of pregnancy completely by myself, lol!
