I was originally going to just use a plastic rubber made container. But that was to easy for me. So the night before they were do to hatch I built this. It has a center divider that is removable so I can keep newly born chicks separated from older chicks or just have one large brooder. It also has two small dividers in the front be the doors to keep the pine shavings from falling out every time the door is opened. And the two front doors open independently so you can get at just one side if needed. They also fold down so as the chicks get older i can let them out with the door used as a ramp. The doors have smalls chains on them so they will not over extend down. I have a top in the works but for now its not needed.
