Additional InformationSec. 5-9. Other permitted animals. (a) Domestic animals other than dogs, cats. All horses, mules, cattle, goats, chickens, ducks, geese and other domestic animals or fowl, except dogs and cats, shall be permitted within the city only with approval of the director after investigation and determination that such animals will not constitute a public nuisance as defined by sections 12-1 and 12-26(b)(3). If the express approval of the director is obtained, then such animals may be kept but they shall be confined by the owner in a secure enclosure and shall not be permitted to run at large within the city, to trespass upon the premises of any person, or to otherwise injure and damage the property of any person.
