Excellent layer of larger-than-normal eggs
Very friendly, vocal, is okay to pet when not walking around coop/yard (will otherwise run away).
Quiet Hen

Excellent layer of spotted large eggs
Bold, usually quiet, picks on everyone except Itchy, pecks constantly when you reach up to pet her while she's roosting or sitting on eggs (will otherwise run away).
Passed away May 18, 2011 after showing signs of illness since May 11. Official cause of death was heart attack, condition causing the illness is inconclusive.
Itchy

Cross (possibly RIR x Orpington)
Bold, standoffish, aggressive, selfish, hates humans. Showing signs of very slowly calming down. Noisy, crows all day. Does not allow hens to eat first. Still rough on the hens, but is improving.
Sent on a journey in another life on June 18, 2011.
Scratchy

Reserved, wary of humans. Took over as head rooster in April 2011. Sometimes noisy, mostly in response to Itchy. Very considerate with the hens in regards to food, roosting, water, and procreation.
Cochina

Cochin (slight cross?)
Started laying, lays often, nice medium-large brown eggs
Observant, stands up for herself. Scared of humans. Will peck only once if you reach up to pet her while she's roosting. Very quiet, even when vocalizing; will sometimes respond to you when you talk to her.
