My journey to help Mrs. Lee

I panic when it comes to sick animals, and reading this story helps me see the possibilities of success for even the most hopeless cases. Thank you for sharing!
What a journey! Lucky Mrs.Lee to have such a devoted and skilled nurse. That first video is heartwrenching. You and she both ]are tough birds that just dont give up. I will remember this article for a long time.
Thank you for sharing Mrs. Lee’s story!

I followed this thread. Like many threads on here, I learned so much. Supportive care is often the only real option left with our feathered friends, and here you have shown how it's done. Well done! And thank you, very much, for documenting it and therefore spreading the 'know how' of what to do when we run out of options.

I remember this thread.
I also remember asking Nksg75 if she would write an account of the treatment. Thank you Nksg75.
I'm very pleased to read that Mrs Lee is back with her friends and recovering.
There must have been many thousands of threads over the history of BYC where a chicken has fallen ill and advice from those at BYC who give it, has been sought.
How do we do? Do we get it right? So often we never get to hear what finally happened.
This when combined with the original thread makes fascinating reading.
I highly recommend any reader of this article to open another tab in their browser and read the thread in conjunction with this article.
What a wonderful chronicle of an even greater effort! Chickens can be so resilient ... as long as we are aware and persistent. Wonderful job ... in both documentation and super chicken care!
