Our Coop

We converted a 10x12 shed into a coop.
add a brooder
keep the lofts for storage
add some vents in the peaks on each end
sliding "barn doors" are incredible space savers
place the nesting boxes against the inside partition walls or outer walls so you can collect eggs without having to go into the birds' areas
install poop boards with sand or PDZ under the chicken roosts
waterproof the floor, especially on the ducks' side
